Visitor Comments: Well, I've weeped into my oak leaf! Upon reflection, I think the windmill in picture 1 is in fact 'The Colourful Hen' or 'De Bonte Hen' as the Dutch would say. It's a mill in the Zaanse Schans area of Zaanstad, which is in Holland (just north of Amsterdam). ?

Mill in question is on the east side of the river Zaan.

Visitor Comments: photo competition - picture 2 is Muness Castle on Unst in the Shetlands - unless there are 2 identical castles! I have an almost identical photo taken in july this year.
