Visitor Comments: You might know me from abaisse, but even if you don't I just wanted to let you know that I adore this site. I geeked out yesterday when I found it and still haven't seen everythin so there is more geekiness to come. I love the pictures of Paris. Next spring I'm going to France with a school trip. We only have a few days in Paris because were also going down south, so I assume we're going to move through the city pretty fast. I assume that many of these locations are not on our list of places to visit, but now that I know what I'm looking for I might be able to at least see some in passing. Thanks!

Visitor Comments: WOW! I love this site, I'm so glad I found it as I am sick of seeing fansites obsessed with "Patria" being an actual woman...

Anyway, I had spent all morning trying to place the streets from the book onto a mondern map of Paris and found this site!

What a treasure trove...I love it, keep up the good work!

Visitor Comments: Thanks for posting information on Dr. Peter Paul Noel D'alvingy who is my great-great-great-great grandfather, bor in 1800 in Paris, France and fought under General Napoleon at Waterloo and later served as a surgeon in the Confederate Army.  Dr. Dalvigny is the model character for "Dr. Meade" in the movie and book, Gone with the Wind.

Visitor Comments: Hey, it's Bramble from Les Amis de l'ABC on Livejournal! *waves* Gorgeous site--I wish I was as geeky. I'm in the process of learning French, though, so eventually I hope to be able to read the French sections. XD

God, I adore this site. It actually contains serious information, unlike the majority of LM sites whose banners read, "The 'Eponine is a Tragic Hero' Fanclub!" Anyway.

I love your "Skewed Interests" discussion, as well. Valjean does not get anywhere near enough recognition as he deserves. Seriously, Les Amis were just a subplot.

Still, I digress; kudos for the great site. :)
