Visitor Comments: I would have gone all the way to 10 if you had included my personal favorite Welk Girl: Charlotte Harris! I loved listening to her cello solos while watching her obvious love of the music come through that smiling, transcendent face.
Other than that, a great site with lots to learn and read up on. |

Visitor Comments:  What a great time I had seeing these photos! I was their travel agent, as well as for other members of the show, back in the late 70's, early 80's. They're a great bunch of folks and I'm glad they're still keeping busy and making people smile! I hope they'll be in the Dallas area one day soon! |

Visitor Comments: My granny worked at the Aragon for most of its existence and may have been the bathroom attendant there, however, she was famous for owning a dress made of money. Her name was Artic Mishia King and may have gone by "Mish".

I now plan my Saturday night around the Welk show on our local PBS affiliate. I can't get enough of the Welk girls, especially Sandi and Sally. Your web site is fun and very informative. PS. Check "You Tube" for lots of great video snippets of the Welk girls. |
