Visitor Comments: I am beginning to research my fathers family tree and believe I have relatives in Union County even though my last name (Greenisen) is spelled just a little different than the GreenEisen's there. My Dad told me it was either my great grandfather or my great-great grandfather Jacob GreenEisen who decided to drop the third "e" from the spelling of the name, and it's been mispronounced ever since!!! My father Ralph Harvey Greenisen was born in Salem, Ohio on January 15th, 1923, and I am looking for any limbs, branches and leaves from his family tree. |

Visitor Comments: This is a great web site, easy to navigate and easy on the eyes. Great content and organization, too! I'm GGGrandaughter of Daniel and Ellen Coffman, who are buried in the Blues Creek Cemetery in Leesburg Township. Looking for more information about them, don't have much--hoping to find death certificates for them. I can dream, can't I? Thanks, folks, for a lovely web site. Kate, Astoria, Oregon |

| Visitor Comments: Many thanks to Jeanne and Nancy for helping me to look for a very distant ancestor who was born in Union County, Ohio. Her name was Emma K Barrett who is on the 1871 and 1881 England census records with her father Tobias Barrett. She is clearly shown as being born in Union County. They were in Union County between 1849 and 1860 or so.
Great website, very informative!
