| Visitor Comments: We stumbled into Shady Rest when our rig broke down and we pulled off on the first exit. With no idea where to go to repair the rig the signs to Shady Rest appeared. We found the most friendly and helpful people we could have ever hoped for. I highly recommend staying at Shady Rest, meeting the owners and John the greeter, then enjoy the beauty and quiet of this bit of West Virginia heaven. |

| Visitor Comments: This is our 3rd year staying at the Shady Rest and we hate to stay anywhere else. The sites are large and the dog walk is great. You can't beat the scenery, cool summer nights and wonderful owners, Steve and Sonja. Once you stay here, you won't want to stay anywhere else. Try it just once, and you will be hooked.  |
