I found my way into this website via a google search. I had been looking around the Oktibbeha genealogy website, and found that you had placed a photo there of the headstone for Lydia Quinn, wife of Oliver Quinn and "former wife" of the deceased EW Blackood. I was touched that her first marriage was important enough to her to have it on the headstone [or important to someone anyway!].
I am a direct descendant of Lydia (I have never discovered her maiden name...family tradition has it she was a full-blodded Native American) and Edward Blackwood; I descend from their daughter Nancy Ann Blackwood who married James Hendricks.
I saw some stuff you have here about Bibb County....I was born and raised and lived in California up till 2007; I moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, earlier this year and work in Bibb County for the Forest Service.
Thanks for posting the headstone photo and thanks for the info on this website.
