Visitor Comments: I think that JT plays great character parts, indeed almost superlative. The latest I've seen is 'The Taking of Pelham 123', not a great movie, but his part is real and believable. I've just seen an episode of 'Monk' where his part is so good. A film is always good if JT is in it.  |

| Visitor Comments: First off, thanks for making this a no-BS site dedicated to one of the world's best actors. I have been a fan of Mr. Turturro for a long time. But last night I saw 'The Truce' for the first time. As an Italian Jew (from Mr. Turturro's home town of Brooklyn, NY), I was especially moved by his performance, which inspired me to find this site. His portrayal of Primo Levi in the film has also inspired me to track down the writings of Mr. Levi. Thanks once again, Mr. Turturro, for expanding my cultural horizons. |
