Visitor Comments: Enjoyed the site very much as I have made numerous trips to Big Horn and Horse Thief in my younger days. I am now 74 and cannot cave any more. I have a 100 lb. unopened canister of miner's lamp carbide that I whould like to sell if any one is interested.

Visitor Comments: Nice site. I was associated with the Shining Mountains Grotto in Bozeman, MT in the early 70's and have been in most of the caves shown in the photo gallery. I built the steel gate in Horsethief. It was not designed to have a hole in it but we forgot the coffee can for a reach-through and had to take it into Lovell and have it cut.

I like this site, its a good one. Is anyone aware of another cave in sinks canyon, because I know of one that's gated and starts with a vertical decent, never explored it. All though I have gone down the other one mentioned on this site numerous times. It's great fun. Lots of trash down there though. I make a real effort to clean as much as I can out. Once we came out with five diffrent grocery bags full of trash.
